There have been 2 summer trout stocked in the lake in 2023 and these have now grown a bit, so you can now buy day passes at Ifiske for a maximum of 3 fish per pass.

Raft path improved
The Flottarstigen along Sikån, between Villvattnets Cementgjuteri and Holmliden, has been cleared and marked for improvement in 2025. A map of the path's route can be found on the Skellefteå Municipality website .
Fishing for Sikån is now permitted after a few years of conservation.
