The Mecca of Pike Fishing
The Stora Bygdeträskets Fiskevårdområde covers 7,000 hectares of water in the forested areas of Burträsk parish. The area is crossed by national road 364 which connects the cities of Umeå and Skellefteå. Service towns within the area are Bygdsiljum and Burträsk with a bank, post office, shops, camping, health centre and all the services required to get around.
